Two organisations. One heart. Zero compromise.

Two legally and operationally separate organisations - each with its own governance, funding structure, intake process, and staff. Together, they ensure that no matter where you are in your journey, there is a clear, rights-protected pathway in. The Ability Advocates Foundation is a registered charity. It opens doors - free advocacy, system navigation, and community support for anyone with a disability, regardless of funding. Ability Advocates Australia is a registered NDIS provider and Group Training Organisation. It walks through those doors - delivering the clinical, employment, and community services that build real independence. You can access one, the other, or both. Your rights are protected at every step.

Two organisations. One shared vision.

Two organisations. One shared purpose.

Legally and operationally separate - distinct governance, separate intake, dedicated staff, and different funding structures. That separation protects the integrity of free advocacy and ensures every person knows exactly who is supporting them and how.

Advocacy and outreach through the Ability Advocates Foundation

Ability Advocates Foundation

A registered charity - not an NDIS provider. The Foundation exists so no person with a disability is left without someone in their corner, regardless of funding. • Free, independent advocacy across health, education, housing, justice, and disability rights • NDIS access support - helping people navigate eligibility before they have a plan • System navigation and service linkages • Community education, outreach, and inclusion events Funded by donations and grants. Always free to the people it serves. Governance: ACNC Registered Charity. Separate board. Separate intake.

Allied health and employment services through Ability Advocates Australia

Ability Advocates Australia

A registered NDIS provider and Group Training Organisation. Ability Advocates Australia delivers the direct services - therapy, employment programs, daily living support, and inclusive workplace programs. Every service is needs-led, not funding-led. • Allied health - Psychology, OT, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Exercise Physiology, Behaviour Support • Employment - SLES/AbilityNEXT, Find & Keep a Job, GTO Traineeships • Daily living and community support • Support for families and carers • Inclusive workplace and NDIS provider capability programs Funded via NDIS, Medicare, GTO, aged care, private, and corporate. Governance: NDIS Registered Provider. Registered GTO. Separate service agreements and intake.

The shared purpose connecting both Ability Advocates organisations

What connects them

The same founding purpose. The same Parramatta base. The same refusal to accept that people with disabilities should have to fight for what they need. The Foundation opens doors - advocating and navigating systems for people with no formal support. Australia walks through those doors - delivering the clinical, employment, and community services that build real independence. Together, they cover every stage: from first contact with no funding, through to long-term, fully supported, integrated care. You can access one, the other, or both - through separate intake processes, with your rights protected at every step.

Governance & separation of services

Governance & separation - what this means for you

Ability Advocates Australia (AA) is a registered NDIS provider and Group Training Organisation. It delivers direct services including allied health, employment, community support, and inclusive workplace programs. The Ability Advocates Foundation (AAF) is a registered charity. It provides free advocacy, system navigation, and community outreach - and does not receive NDIS funding. While both share the same founding vision, they are legally and operationally separate. This separation is not a technicality - it protects your rights. **What that means in practice:** • Separate intake forms and processes • Distinct service agreements for each entity • Staff allocated exclusively to either AA or AAF - not both • If you move between entities, you will be supported through a clear, documented transition with your consent at every step **Your rights:** You can choose to engage with AA, AAF, or both. You will always be informed about who is supporting you and how that support is funded. If you have questions, call 1300 028 928 or email info@abilityadvocates.com.au.
